A Decade of Dedication to English Education and IELTS Excellence

I am Arpan Khatiwada, though most people around me know me simply as AK Sir. Born in 1986 in Buddhashanti-2, Jhapa, my educational journey began across the border at St. George Higher Secondary School in India. Fueled by a passion for language and learning, I moved to Kathmandu and completed my Master’s Degree in English from Tribhuvan University.

As co-owner of BEES International Education Service, I believe in building an institution that prioritizes truth, trust, and transformation. Education is not just about classrooms—it’s about shaping futures, responsibly.

Since then, my mission has been clear: to make English learning enjoyable, practical, and impactful.

If you’re a student seeking a teacher who understands, guides, and truly cares, I welcome you with open arms. I’m not just here to teach English—I’m here to walk with you on your journey to success.

A Life Dedicated to Teaching

With over a decade of teaching experience, I have been fortunate to teach English to students at various schools and colleges. Currently, I am based in Birtamode, teaching English in Grade XII, while also leading as an IELTS Instructor at BEES International Education Service for the past 10 years.
My journey with IELTS coaching has been especially rewarding. I’m proud to say that 90% of my students have scored over Band 6, and hundreds have achieved their study-abroad dreams with the help of the skills we built together.

IELTS Support That Sticks

At BEES International Education Service, IELTS preparation is more than just test tips and grammar drills—it’s a journey of skill-building, confidence-boosting, and personal growth. With over a decade of experience guiding students through IELTS, I’ve come to understand that every learner is different, and that’s exactly why I tailor my approach for each individual.

I also provide mock tests, individual feedback sessions, and personalized improvement plans. My goal is not just to help students pass IELTS, but to make sure they feel prepared for the real-world communication challenges they’ll face abroad.

What Makes Me, Me

Those who know me describe me as cheerful, calm, and down-to-earth, with a good sense of humor and—most importantly—patience. I believe every question is important, no matter how many times it’s asked. I take pride in explaining things until understanding is achieved, not just until I’ve said my part.

And if I don’t know something, I say it. I don’t guess, because a wrong answer can mislead a future. Instead, I research, learn, and return—with the correct answer. That’s the standard I hold for myself as both a teacher and a mentor.

More Than a Teacher

Outside the classroom, I’m a human being who loves movies, music, travelling, and quality time with family. I believe that these simple joys keep me grounded and relatable, which my students often appreciate.

Even now, after a decade, many of my former students reach out for guidance. It’s a quiet affirmation that I must have done something right—perhaps it’s the honesty, perhaps the connection we share. For many, I’ve become not just an IELTS instructor, but a lifelong mentor whose words continue to guide them even after their test is done. That, to me, is true success.
